Abstract

As part of MTU’s commitment to research excellence, research data should be managed to the highest standards throughout its lifecycle. In May 2023, MTU’s Research Council and Academic Council formally approved the Research Integrity (RI) Policy.

Along with the principles of RI being accountability, honesty, reliability and respect, the RI policy also states that not preserving primary research data and/or poor research data management and storage are forms of unacceptable research practices.

To support compliance with these aspects of the RI Policy, bitesize research data webinars were arranged. These webinars are by Thérèse Ahern (Metadata & Research Data Librarian).
