Abstract

MTU Library announced the addition of a new Read & Publish deal with Springer Nature in February, 2024. This resource is provided through our IReL membership and is funded nationally by NTUTTOR. MTU staff and postgraduate students can avail of the following Open Access publishing options via Springer journals, completely free of charge.

Eligible article types: Brief/communication, Article, Case report, Perspective, Doctoral dissertation, Letter, News and Views, Original research, Review article.

Information session will cover:

1. How to identify participating Springer journals
2. Understand what criteria authors must meet to attain an APC with Springer
3. Step by step guide to the author workflow when availing of an APC
