Abstract

Earlier this year MTU Library announced the addition of a new Read & Publish deal with Taylor & Francis. This resource is provided through our IReL membership and is funded nationally by NTUTTOR. MTU staff and postgraduate students can avail of the following Open Access publishing options via Taylor & Francis journals, completely free of charge.

Journals eligible for OA publishing:

• Over 1,900 T&F Open Select journals (hybrid journals). Most, but not all (see list of excluded journals), of T&F’s hybrid journals are included.
• Fully open access (Gold) journals.

Information session will cover:

1. How to identify participating T&F journals
2. Understand what criteria authors must meet to attain an APC with Taylor & Francis
3. Step by step guide to the author workflow when availing of an APC
